Good Reads

This site offers book lists and more.  Look around and you will find a list of the top 500 books for young adults chosen by book lovers. Young-adult books are books marketed to adolescents, or readers roughly between the ages of 12 to 17.  Main characters in these books are usually from the same age range.  Our library media center at Five Lakes Elementary School has most of these books on our shelves.  However, books on this list that were written with the older adolescents in mind have not purchased for our library.

Hey, Library Man! This site is okay, but it is really huge. It has enough book titles to fill the bellies of 9 sperm whales. Seriously. How's a pirate supposed to work it?
Later, mate.

I didn't know pirates cried, Gray Beard. Maybe you need to spend some more time exploring this site. Isn't that what pirates are good at, exploring? If you can navigate the ocean I would think you could find your way around such a worthy Internet site.

Later, back at you.
